Die K\u00fcstenstra\u00dfe war zwar eine Katastrophe, Schlagloch an Schlagloch, aber die Gegend erinnerte uns doch sehr an die Insel. Auch das Wetter, Temperaturen um 18 Grad und ein kr\u00e4ftiger Wind&#8230; nur nicht neidisch werden!<br \/>Au\u00dferdem guckten wir uns noch das sch\u00f6ne St\u00e4dtchen Ferndale an. Hier gab es zum Mittag ein gutes Steak beim Mexikaner. Danach fuhren wir, wie schon beschrieben, durch &#8222;Irland&#8220; und anschlie\u00dfend durch die Humboldt-Redwoods zum heutigen Campingplatz, der teuer und schlecht ist. Das Internet ist langsam, zwei Klos, wobei nur eine Box eine T\u00fcr hat&#8230; aber immerhin waren wir wieder mal baden. Denn der relativ warme Eel-River (Aale haben wir aber keine gesehen) 50 Meter entfernt lud doch sehr zum Schwimen ein. Inzwischen (wir sind wieder etwas von der K\u00fcste entfernt) ist es doch wieder recht warm geworden.<\/p>\n<p>Eines der netten alten H\u00e4user in Ferndale<br \/><a onblur=\"try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}\" href=\"http:\/\/3.bp.blogspot.com\/_pHVlThCTPdM\/TDvyinhTJaI\/AAAAAAAACkk\/_1sM0t1SNyE\/s1600\/IMG_1490.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"margin: 0px auto 10px; display: block; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 320px; height: 180px;\" src=\"http:\/\/blog.lutzes-welt.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/07\/IMG_1490.jpg\" alt=\"\" id=\"BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5493250847046575522\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a><br \/>Die Stra\u00dfe zur\u00fcck f\u00fchrte durch die Humboldt-Redwoods.
