Kein Wunder, war die Burg doch gut auf Moldau und Elbe zu erreichen. Allerdings hielt er sich wohl selten und nie lange dort auf. Die Stadt bl\u00fchte sp\u00e4ter im 15ten Jahrhundert als Mitglied der <a href=\"https:\/\/de.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Hanse\">Hanse <\/a>auf. Viele Backsteinbauten, Fachwerkh\u00e4user und Stadttore zeugen vom einstigen Reichtum. Als wir das erste mal die Stadt besuchten, fielen uns die zahlreichen St\u00f6rche auf, die auf vielen Nestern mitten im St\u00e4dtchen br\u00fcteten und klapperten. Heute machten wir bei herrlichem Sonnenschein eine Wanderung durch die Stadt und anschlie\u00dfend auf dem Elbdeich Richung S\u00fcden. Tausende G\u00e4nse, Kraniche und Wasserv\u00f6gel waren auf den \u00fcberfluteten Elbwiesen zu beobachen. \u00dcber die nicht\u00fcberfluteten Teile der Wiesen ging es wieder zur\u00fcck nach Tangerm\u00fcnde. Auf dem Weg nach Hause machten wir Halt in <a href=\"https:\/\/de.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Jerichow\">Jerichow<\/a>. Dieser Name hat keinen biblischen Ursprung sondern ist slawisch und hei\u00dft \u00fcbersetzt &#8222;Burg der Tapferen&#8220;. Wir besuchten das <a href=\"https:\/\/de.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Kloster_Jerichow\">Kloster Jerichow<\/a> und dessen Stiftskirche.
